Recall Alert
Iams Recalls Dry Eukanuba Naturally Wild In All Sizes And Varieties
Recall Also Includes Dry Eukanuba Pure In All Sizes and Varieties, Dry Eukanuba Custom Care Sensitive Skin and Iams Veterinary Dry Formulas
Iams has recalled dry Eukanuba Naturally Wild pet food in all bag sizes and varieties and for all expiration dates because of the potential for Salmonella contamination. This food is sold at PSP and other pet specialty retailers. Anyone who has purchased this food should stop feeding it to their pet immediately. Affected food should be returned to your local PSP store double bagged in plastic (to prevent contact with the food) for a full refund.
Iams has also recalled dry Eukanuba Pure in all sizes and varieties, dry Eukanuba Sensitive Skin and Iams Veterinary dry formulas. Unlike Eukanuba Naturally Wild, these foods are not stocked by PSP, but we are including them in this alert as a service to our customers.
This recall is being issued because the food has the potential to be affected by salmonella. No canned food or biscuits is affected by this recall. Below is a listing of the recalled foods. Once again, only Eukanuba Naturally Wild is sold at PSP stores.

When disposing of any food that may be contaminated with Salmonella, please do so safely, sealing and securing it in way that it isn’t accessible to pets, wildlife or children. Wear protective gloves or wash your hands thoroughly after handling contaminated food. Also clean and disinfect all surfaces that have come into contact with the food, including food bowls. Be sure bowls are rinsed thoroughly and allowed to dry before reusing.

Thank you for posting this !! I had NO idea that they expanded the original recall !! My dad's cat is on the IAMS perscription Low PH and it was included in the recall !! I had him stop giving the food, and we decided to start him on the Halo sensitive for cats. compared the min/max levels in the two and the Halo is either the same or BETTER then the Iams.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I figure it's important. 
I don't know what is up with the Salmonella lately, it seems even separate recalls, that's what the problem is. It's scary.

' It's bad news - but it's good to spread !! My dad's cat has had health issues in the past (which is why he was on the special food to begin with) and the potential for salmonella is NOT good to add to that !!
