Iberostar Dominican Republic
I know there are 3 Iberostar resorts there. Can anyone recommend one which one is the nicest? We will be traveling with our DD who will be 9 months old. THanks!

Re: Iberostar Dominican Republic
Melissa (MrsPJB..darn can't remember the rest of her screenname) just recently went there and RAVED. I believe she posted pictures and had a review on Liweddings.com, on the Newlywed board.

Re: Iberostar Dominican Republic
I went to the Punta Cana one 2 years ago. It was totally renovated.
We had a rec for that one as being the best of all.

Re: Iberostar Dominican Republic
I have stayed at the Iberostar Bavaro twice. This is the nicest one of the three. The rooms are more like suites, only four rooms to a building. the others are larger hotel type set ups. I don't know if this has changed as I was there 3 years and 8 years ago, but if you stay at the Bavaro you can use the facilities in all three. If you stay at the Punta Cana or the Dominicana you can only use the facilities of those two. All three are really nice, but IMO the Bavaro is the calmest/quietest. The other two had many more kids and just seemed more "upbeat" in general. I guess it depends on what you are looking for. Have fun!

Actually the Iberostar Punta Cana has 2 buildings. Regular rooms and Junior suite.
The junior suites: All the doors face the "garden view in the middle of the resort and extent to the entire width of the building so you you only have rooms on eash side. The balcony on the back faces a "private" garden.
I am trying to find pics

Re: Iberostar Dominican Republic
Thanks everyone! I think we are going to book the Iberostar Punta Cana. It seems like it would be the best for us since we are bringing our baby. Does anyone know if bottled water is included in the all inclusive?

It was ALL inclusive. You will need to ask for it. Some restaurants may not have it but you can take it from your room.

Re: Iberostar Dominican Republic
I stayed at Iberostar Bavaro Beach. There are two on one property. One side is called Quetzal and one side is called Tucan. They are exactly the same. I would definitely recommed any of the Iberostar properties, they are great.
