Ice cream truck for party???

does anyone know of an Ice cream truck that I can hire to stop at our house in mass pk for DD's bday??

I think ice cream in the freezer is great but I LOVE your idea of the ice cream truck.

Our local fire dept rents a Mister Softee truck for our annual dept picnic. I would ask one of the local trucks.

truth be told my friend had this for her DD's party and it was such a hit with the adults and kids.....

I can never seem to catch our guy - never seems to pass a the same time - and it's kindof a sucky one.... not that I am trying to sound picky LOL

I do this for my block party I organize. I have Mr. Softee come. You actually have to get intouch wtih the Mr. Softee that covers your area. They each have their own territory

Not sure where abouts you are .....

We used Uncle Al's ( one of our local guys) and he was phenomenal...Went above and beyond- Gave a great deal for the ice-cream, then gave my DS a tour of his truck and let him pick out as many ice-creams as he wanted as a gift He literally filled a box for him....

DH and I thought he had to have taken a loss, so we gave him a nice tip that he reluctantly took...Such a sweet sweet man

I found mine at a local park and took his business card from him ..Maybe try a park or a ball field near you??

I live OOS but I am doing this for my DS's 1st b-day

they charge $2 per person and 20 bucks for the truck

the truck driver waits around the block and we call him when we are ready, he will come to my home with the music playing, do a few magic tricks and give out ice cream

It will probably cost me about $60 total

I know mr softee can only go in there area, So you might have to stop the local guy and ask. My friends just bought a route and was telling me that they give the people options. They either keep a running tab and allow the people to get whatever they want off the truck or limit it to little cups/ cones or pre made stuff for a set price.

Also the Ralphs on park blvd used to rent out that cart which might be another option.

We did this for DS's first b-day at Wantagh park, but I can't for the life of me remember how I got their number. Let me ask DH.....
