Ideas for 4yo boy birthday gift???
We're invited to DH's friends for a birthday party this weekend.....they just moved to the area but my DH has been friends with them for ~10 years.
We have never met the little boy so I have no idea what he might like, I just want to bring a little something fun....any suggestions???

My girlfriend's son is 4 years old too and he is into Super Heros (Superman, Spiderman, etc.) also anything with Fire Trucks, Cars, etc.

Superheroes (dress-up costumes) usually work out well for 4 yo's. Spiderman tends to be the favorite.
Educationwise - Letter Factory / Word Factory DVDs by Leapfrog are great.

My DS will be 4 next month and has no interest in super heroes yet. Maybe he's weird?  
He's loving his board games right now - Cariboo, Hungry Hungry Hippo, Let's Go Fishing, Leap Frog Bingo and Dominoes.
We got him a bunch of stuff for his upcoming birthday including an art easel, bug hunting stuff  , books, books and more books... (he can't get enough ) and a tee-ball thingy for the backyard. My family is buying him the Cadillac Escalade so I'm sure DH's and my gifts will mean nothing.

My 4 yo nephew LOVES anything with Dinosours. We got him a personalixed kit from Lillian Vernon with a box that has his name on it filled with Dinosours. Probably costs about $30 or so?
