Ideas for 70th Bday..
We are going to a surprise 70th bday party next weekend for a friends mother. Any ideas for a gift? My friend mentioned gift cards to certain stores, but, I want to add something "special". Ive known them for about 18 years.
Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

We did a NY Times from their birthday for DH's uncle. It's probably a more appropriate gift for a man than a woman. Do they really want to read about 1936?
You can throw together a video if you have a lot of photos. A nice piece of jewelry, etc. IMO the best thing you could do is to get a gift certificate somewhere & write a letter as to why you admire & how much this woman has meant to you all of these years.

Thank You so much. I'll come up with something..Pictures are a great idea..I have to search and see if I can find some.
