Ideas for a craft for DS's b-day party?
I always like to do some type of craft at the party. He's going to be 5 and I'd like to do something fun. Last year I had the kids decorate a wooden picture (each had one that I wrote their names on) frame that I bought from Micheal's. Anu suggestions for this year?

oriental trading has a ton of crafts. Maybe you can find one to cooridnate with the birthday theme.

Make Salt Dough and then cut out trucks, cars, etc with cookie cutters, dry them out in the oven on 225 for a few hours and have them paint them and decorate them...
We do this for Christmas..
And for Easter we make Eggs and then hang them up in the window.
Its a great activity that keeps them busy and you can make a ton of "ornaments" for mere pennies

colored sand art (bottles)
make their own mask (paper plate, tongue depresser, glue, markers, crayons, glitter, etc etc)

What about the Build A Bear kits? They are called something else, but it's a stuff your own animal activity...

Not really craft but, my cousin did make your own sundaes. Had all the ingredients on the table & everyone was able to put their own toppings on it
