Ideas for a family reunion

We are trying to get some ideas for doing a family reunion next year, probably around 70 people....
Please ANY ideas!? Any resorts, cities or anything

Last January we did a family reunion cruise (also my great uncle's 80th birthday-we timed it for both)

We took a cruise from Port Canaveral and did a short cruise-4 days-with about 60 people....it was some work getting it all together, but we had such a great time- and it wasn't super $$$.


I forgot to mention that is was on royal carib. -we went to the bahamas-

It was perfect for the adults and the kids too- lots of "group" time but alone time if people wanted it too...

I would say a cruise. With 70 people if you go thru one of the discount companies I bet you could get a huge discount. The cruises are great for groups as they will arrange for special events for your family I always saw cocktail parties going on for family reunions when I cruised on Princess and Celebrity. You could get a really nice weeks vacation with all meals included for not too much if you plan it right. You could also arrange for private tours on the islands with your whole group if that is something you are interested in.

that sounds great. Do you have a sense of how much each person would be willing to spend?

We don't really have an idea of how much they are willing to spend at this point, we are just trying to come up with ideas to throw out there, kwim? The issue is that people are coming from all over the country. I really like the cruise idea! I'll have to look into that Thanks
