Ideas for Christening party - Mid to Eastern Suffolk
Looking for ideas.. would like to plan everything shortly after DC is born. I did a search but couldnt find anything for eastern suffolk.
Restaurant preferably.. or a small hall.

J&R steakhouse is inexpensive and they provide the sheetcake. They have a private party room. I believe it was around 16/pp. (behind the smithhaven mall).

The Polish American Hall in Port Jeff Station. I had my wedding reception there ,and it was really nice !! It was $300 to rent it out ,and then I had it catered myself ,so I am not sure what your budget is ,but def. something you can look into

We had DS's party at the Heritage Center at Heritage Park in Mount Sinai. It is very reasonable. It was a great set-up. You will have to have food brought in, though.

I don't know if Mario's in E.Setauket re-opened yet ( new owners -- people that own Collesseo's) They catered my wedding 2 yrs ago and they were redoing the whole inside ,and it was beautiful !! Give them a call ....the food was amazing

Well we did Shandon Court in East Islip and were happy. Also, my mom did my baby shower at the Snapper Inn in Oakdale and we were happy with that as well. Not sure if thats not far east enough.

We had ours at John Harvards near the Smithaven Mall. No complaints, the food was good, service was good and everyone enjoyed the different home brewed beers to sample. We had 60 people.

J+R's is cheap and they have good food. There is one is Calverton, right on Sound Ave.

Had my kids at Blue in Bluepoint and The Stonebridge CC in Smithtown. Both did a great job and were very reasonable. I love the ambiance at Blue....

Shandon court is great - private party rooms, decent food, great price.

I had my dd christening here a few weeks ago...they charged us $640 to rent it and about $300 (can provide your own) for beer wine and soda (they have a bar tender there) and I had it catered I had about 140 ppl but the hall is really pretty
