Ideas for funny, work-safe costume
... that won't break the bank
One idea I had was "mail ordered bride" who was "shipped" via FedEx.
But I fear how it might go over as being insensitive.

This could be offensive.
Are you trying to do a fed ex theme ?
My parents are being cards - they bought like a smock card that goes overhead from amazon that wasn’t expensive. There are non sexy costumes that they sell.
At my daughters school, a kid was Barbie in the box. You could just wear a pink top and blonde wig and paint the box pink with Barbie logo.

My favorite EASY costumes were "Devil with a Blue Dress On" -- wear a blue dress with devil horns. And "A Sack of Lies" -- put labels all over you with stuff like "The check is in the mail", "I'll call you in the morning", "No, that doesn't make you look fat." Etc.

thanks for the ideas.
i was standing in front of my closet (and staring into the abyss) wondering what to wear to brunch, yesterday... and it hit me!!
i have a red and white striped shirt. i wear black reading glasses... i'll go as the female version of Waldo!
this weekend, i'll quickly knit a red and white beanie and call it a day! i have red and white inexpensive yarn already.
yay. this will cost me NOTHING.
