Ideas for Next Week
DH and I are both going to be off all of next week and I'm trying to plan activities for us. We're definitely going to the beach weather permitting and out for dinners and lunches, I'm just trying to brainstorm here and could use some help. Any ideas for our "pretend vacation"?

If Bay Shore is close.... Milk & Sugar cafe for buffet brunch on Sunday. Just went for the first time this weekend and wow.

Maybe take a day trip to the wineries out east?
Have a day where you stay in Pj's and watch TV all day, those are my favorite!

A day out to Riverhead to go to the Aquarium.....there are a few nice places to have lunch nearby there! (and we like it because it's small enough that it doesn't kill the whole day!)
Greenport since the crowds will have thined out!

I was going to suggest Riverhead Aquarium or maybe the north shore out east to go apple picking or something like that, or montauk for the day. I love it out east on both forks.

Go canoeing or kayaking on the Nissequogue (sp).
Visit the Riverhead aqu. or Go to the Bronx zoo, Botanical Garden or Central Park.
Make a picnic and take it somewhere. And if it rains, do it in your living room.

Would you drive to PA..... There is sooo much to do there...
Whitewater rafting
tubing
20 mile bike ride( it's downhill  ) along the river... you can stop swim, have a picnic..
hiking the mountains
paintball in the woods
Hersey park
you could camp out in the woods over night or stay at one of the caesars pocono resorts for a romantic evening...
