Ideas for sharing baby news on Christmas...
Thinking (Hoping) we're going to have some good news to share and was wondering if any of you have any ideas for how to share it with family on Christmas day.
I was thinking of wrapping a "Grandma/Grandpa Love Me" bib for my parents and my DH's mom.
Any other cute ideas? I've always dreamt of sharing baby news on Christmas Day!

I had a shirt made at the flea market that said Mommy to be with a huge arrow pointing down...When I took my jacket off my parents and brothers face were priceless!!

we shared the news on valentines day. however, we got little onesies that said "what happens at grandmas, stays at grandmas."

i know it's the "wrong" occassion, but i saw it as a birthday present. where they sang the happy birthday song. the couple said GRANDPA instead of DAD. it was priceless.
* i think those cheesy sweatshirts that say "best grandma/granpa in the world" woudl be a great gift to wrap.
* give the women (grandmothers-to-be) knitting needles, yarn, and a pattern for baby booties for christmas. have the note attached saying that they have X time to figure it out!
* tell everyone that you want a group picture. set your camera on a timer. instead of yelling "say cheese", right before the camera goes off, yell "hey, everyone, (instert your name)'s pregnant" and then SNAP! you'll have a picture of that moment forever!
* give the grandparents a family tree. on the leaf between you and DH, just pencil in your due date

that is a GREAT idea!!
maybe get a custom tshirt made for yourself? like one that says baby on board or something like that and wear it and see who notices

This is what someone's daughter did for her mom
She made a small photo album. Her as a baby. Her as a teenager. Her meeting her DH. Her wedding. Then her PG and pics of sono.
It was like a little story book.
Her mom cried when she opened the photo album.

Get an ornament. You can get a grandparents ornament at one of those kiosks and have them write " grandparents to be" on it. Then they can use it every year.

I love all your ideas. Thank you! But this one is REALLY cute.
(Although my brother had to go and ruin it by already making them grandparents 7 years ago... lol. Just kidding. I love my nephew!!! I guess I can't do this then? Booooo....)

You can still do it. Get a stork or a new grandchild one and write new grandchild arriving 2011.
