Ideas for staying organized... post yours here!
I use a plastic shoe holder on the back of my closet door to hold glue sticks, markers, colored pencils. Great for Middle School!

I have a 10 drawer rolling bin for my art supplies.
Extra assignment copies go in a "mailbox" thing sorted by period.
I have a bin with folders for each period. When they hand in work it goes in the appropriate folder.
I teach HS.

One thing that helped me A LOT is this:
I put hanging file folders in it and numbered them 1-31, plus To Copy, Next Month.
When I make copies for activities and stuff, I put them in the file for the date. For instance, I have 3 math sheets that I need to use on November 12th. I paperclip them together and stick them in the file for 12. SOOOOO helpful.
I also use post it notes in my plan book. Great way to move lessons if I need to.

I use this too, but since I teach the younger kids I actually use this in my closet and store extra supplies like pipe cleaners, pens, craft stuff, etc.
I also use a different colored folder for each day of the week and have the stuff for that day - copies, overheads, books that I will be reading, notes to go home, etc.
