Ideas for Thing 1 and Thing 2 first Birthday

Im thinking about having Thing 1 and Thing 2 theme for my twins birthday.

I'm not super creative, so I need some help with ideas on decorations, cakes and entertainment.

I know a while ago someone posted these super cute cup cakes, but I can't find them.

I don't have pics on this computer but I had the same exact theme for DS and my niece - they were born 3 days apart.

Etsy was my BF when planning this - you can get ANYTHING made.

Some things I did were get them each a Thing 1 and Thing 2 shirts made in red - they wore a sky blue long sleeve shirt under them, DS wore black jeans and my niece wore black and white striped leggings.



We had hats like these made


Cupcake toppers



These were the invites we used


Wwe had water bottle labels made, a banner, and a big cupcake topper for each to place in the centerpieces.


For the table we bought a blue vinyl table cloth and then bought a roll of red and white stripped wrapping paper. We unrolled the wrapping paper, folded both sides towards the middle and just taped it on top of the blue table cloth. We bought red and white paper plates (square shape) and cups, blue utensils, and red and white checked napkins from Oriental trading.

The centerpieces were red, blue (the blue shown in the above pics) and a lighter blue latex balloons - about 8 to each center piece.

We gave out Dr. Suess chalk board mats.
We also had guests sign the Dr Suess book "Happy Birthday to You" book


We ordered the cakes from Lady J's Cakes - they were delicious and a really great price
