Ideas to bring $$ in the home while being a SAHM
i feel the need to bring in some sort of money anyone have ideas that i can do..
I was thinking Avon I dont know much about it though..

What about a hostess for those parties... like tastefully simple.. thos are great.. people love them b/c you eat..
Eta: plus the products are affordable.. my friend at work does it on the side, and people like me, order even when shes not having a party.

3 of my friends do something similiar for extra $$.
1 does pampered chef
1 does Arbonne
and the other does lia sophia jewelry
it doesnt bring in $$$$$$$$$$$ but at least its something

My dad's wife does Mary Kay on the side. When she was serious about it she was making more than her FT salary. Now she just lets the people under her work and she takes orders from her existing customer base.
She's always asking me to do it, but I'm cr@p at sales. Too self conscious.
ETA: She made enough off Mary Kay for my dad to pay for my wedding.

I am unable to depend on DH for any shifts watching Josh(he has a crazy changing schedule)...or I would love to wait tables or bartend 2 nights a week.
but, currently I watch a little boy 6 weeks younger then mine. Its perfect. 7:30-3:15 everyday, 50.00 a day.
between breakfast, lunch, 2 bottles, 2 naps...my day just flies by. When he leaves I usually walk with mine or go to the park.
its only been positive, and the best is she's a guidence counselor, so I have summer off.

I actually sell AVON, If you want info on it send me a FM and I will explain the whole thing to you. It has actually been a great way for me to make some extra $ while working, and now while I am on leave.

I use some Arbonne products with DD. They are a company in Switzerland (I believe) and they make all kinds of cosmetics, soaps, lotions, creams. I use their baby wash, lotion, sunblock and diaper cream on DD. Their products are great but not cheap.

But she is probally buying so much stuff for herself that she is eating away at her own profits. The whole idea with any of these things is to sell the stuff not buy everything for yourself.

I am selling avon..I am not making much because I am buying so much!!! I actually really love the creams..Avon also sells jewlery, bras, and kids things. The only good thing is the discount which is big..especially in the beginning.
