Identical Twin Moms, come on in!
After reading a previous post from a mom of identical twins that shared a placenta, like mine do, I'm curious as to whether identical twins always come a lot earlier than fraternal twins?
If you had identical twins, how many weeks were you when they were born?

 we were babies 4 and 5 and weighed 8.3 and 7.3 - my poooor mom

As we discussed, this was my second pregnancy. <y first went to term. My twins arrived at 30 weeks weighing 2 lbs 11 oz, 2 lbs 12 onces. Currently both are doing well in NICU NSHU. They have been there for 4 plus weeks. We expect to take them home within 2 weeks or so.

Mine are identical but they had their own sacs, just shared a placenta. I was induced at 35 weeks since one was growing and the other stopped since he was getting short changed on the food from the placenta. I beleive they had Twin to Twin Transfer but this was never confirmed. My boys were 6lbs 10 ozs and 3 lbs 10 ozs.
If i was not induced they would have stayed a lot longer in there since after 3 days of inducing me they didn't budge. Myu boys were in there for the long haul.

Had mine at 36 weeks, but they were a planned c-section because they were showing signs of TTTS. No NICU time was needed for either one.
