If a company you hired goes out of business ( warranty related)...

Back in 02' we hired a contractor to put CAC in our house...On the invoice he wrote that the compressor unit was warranteed for 10 years...

Here we are 8 years later and guess what ? My A/C isn't working

Called both numbers on the invoice, neither of which is in service

I tried to look up the company name to see if there is a web-site and so far no luck...

There is an address on the invoice, but I'll bet it's a house address

Am I out of luck here ? The business name is incorporated....

warranty would be thru the manufacturer... Try calling them, they will prob ask for the serial #.
