If anyone knows of young puppies available...
Please let me know. Preferably in the Suffolk County Area. My brother and SIL are having a difficult time finding one at the local shelters. They rather rescue a puppy. They are not really looking for any kind in particular, just whoever they fall in love with. They have a shih-tzu right now and lost their 2 year old bull mastiff a few months ago. Their shih-tzu is very lonely without his brother.
Will consider all breeds.

there are 3 local rescues that i know of they are called
Last chance animal rescue
Hands of hope animal rescue
All the way home animal rescue
they always have puppies they rescue them from puppymills down south and bring them up here my friend just adopted one from the last chance rescue you can look them up on facebook or just google them

Southampton town animal shelter just took in 12 litters of puppies from a Georgia shelter on 2/12.

we adopted from last chance rescue our puppy was 1 but I know they have younger.
If you look on there website they have events at Lake Grove petco often

The New Rochelle Human Society has some cute puppies right now but it is pretty far from Suffolk. Try petfinder.com most shelters and rescues I know of post the animals they have for adoption on there.

Every Saturday morning, North Shore Animal Leaugue puts out all their puppies that are being checked by the vet all week... we got ours last week. I never saw so many pupies at one time!
