If DC had a party at a place without a real theme (like a bouncy house type place)
What did you get for favors?

DD is having a bowling party this year for her birthday and she does like bowling but her heart is girly, fancy nancy so she is having fancy nancy favors at a bowling alley. So my advice is go with what your child likes and dont worry too much about the party place.

Re: If DC had a party at a place without a real theme (like a bouncy house type place)
We had a bday party at a gym place last year and there was no theme. I found an awesome deal on fleece blankets in the Disney Store ($20 blankets I think I paid $5.50 each) and used purple Tinkerbell ones for the girls and red Cars ones for the boys. My older DS just had a party at Chuck E Cheese and there was no theme. I saw alien themed invitations and DS loved them, so I went with that. I found cute alien cupcake toppers and Toy Story cups with the green alien guys.

We are having a party at Kzam and we are still having a theme, comic superhero. We are giving out personalized capes and a candy bar.

I had my son's birthday at the bouncy places, but still did a theme. i had a pirate theme for DS 3rd birthday. Goodie bags were pirate loot bags with a sword, telescope, a notebook and pencils. I always try the store Amazing Savings.
His 2nd birhtday was a the bouncy place, we had a Toy Story Theme.

Thanks everyone. DS loves monster trucks but not sure how well that would go over with the girls. I'll have to check some things out.

I just went through this.
DS had his 4th birthday at Bounce U.
I went to Target and got a bunch of favors that would be both girl and boy friendly, and threw in some fruit snacks and such.
All of the kids loved the "sticky hand".
