She is 2 1/2 and it's still on (twin bed). When she naps on the futon there is no rail and many times she falls off onto the wood floor while she's sleeping. She hasn't gotten hurt, just wakes up and wonders how she got there and I'll put her back on the bed.

DS is almost 2.5 and we just changed him to a toddler bed with no bed rail and he is fine
