If I have a cold and am taking DayQuil etc..

and I am going for the CD21 progesterone and prenatal screening blood tests on Saturday, do you think the meds will affect it?
Also do I fast?

I am going to call my dr too, but figured I'd ask the experts too!

Dayquil can interfere with conception, if you are taking it during, O time. Dayquil can dry up your cervical mucus or change the ph balance of it.

As far as it affecting progesterone, it won't. If you ovulate cd 14 then the cd 21 test is accurate. If you ovulate cd 18 ..then the cd 21 test is not. Progesterone should be tested 7 dpo.

You should fast, if you are being tested for glucose. All other hormones don't require fasting. I don't think the med will affect your hormones.
