IF Jewelry GTG

Please let me know if you'd like to make a bracelet, necklace, or both.
I was going to do a poll, but it'll be easier if you either respond to this thread, or FM me if you'd prefer.

Also, do you want a butterfly (sympolizes miscarriage), a turtle (symbolizes protection and fertility), or both? I'm going to try to find a sea turtle charm (for me) so if you'd prefer a sea turtle over a regular turtle, let me know...

I'm going to look at some pics and figure out how many beads, etc... we'll need for each so I can try to figure out some pricing.

Good question- I was working on that next I was going to price out the beads locally (using coupons for pricier ones) and then price them online at a bead place that I know of w/ a huge selection and see which worked out to be cheaper. Then if it was online we'll need time for them to be delivered.
I was hoping for a weekend or a fri night--- but wanted to see what works best for everyone else. Any suggestions?

I'll try to find out. I would imagine they're the same meaning though. They're both turtles really... even though one swims. They're one of my favorite sea animals, because they're so peaceful

ETA: I just looked on the site that SweetTooth posted and one of the bracelets actually shows a sea turtle. Plus I looked up turtle/sea turtle fertility symbol and found an article about both of them, so it's your pick

I love sea turtles too so I would rather have that one but, whatever you can find.

Friday night would be easier for me but I can do the weekend too. I'm very flexible.

And I hope you'll let us know the cost of stuff so we can each pay our way.

I was thinking...if the weather is decent and many of us are in Suffolk, we can go to that place in Port Jeff where you can get counter service and sit at the tables outside? What do you think of that? This way its not at your house...there's no wait service so they'll leave us alone and we can eat and drink too (they have some alcohol ).

Sounds good to me I like Port Jeff. I wouldn't mind having at at our studio but if ppl would prefer a public place, I'm all for it- I just want to finally be able to make a get together!!! A lot of you have become my friends more so than some of my real life friends, because you can relate to the pain which is my life right now.

Oh I didn't mean to come off like I was saying you specifically--- however we do it is fine w/ me It would take me as long to drive to Bellport as it would to Port Jeff b/c I'm on the North Shore out east so either place works for me
If it was the summer I'd gladly invite you all out to my house--- and still will for whoever's up for making a trip!!! I don't drink but we could go to a winery or to the beach or something.
I have a very tiny house but we'd be in the yard in the summer so it'd work

Is the place you're thinking of near the ferry? If so then I think I know the place you're talking about. Do they offer lobster in the summer? My dad was in the hospital (Mather I think) over there after he had double hip surgery so I was over that way every night.

I think I would be up for it depending on the day. Maybe I would made a necklace charm since I made the bracelet. FYI- AC Moore is having a sale on semi-precious stones. 2 for 3 dollars for the strands of Moonstone and Rose Quartz. They don't have the green and red stones but Micheals does.
