People say that to me all the time! We are probably around the same week....I am 16 weeks. I told some people last week and they were like "really! wow! you don't even look pregnant at all!" I was like "yeah I know...it's my first so sometimes it takes longer to "pop" with your first." It doesn't bother me too much, but gets a little annoying from time to time.

Oh just wait until you hit 36 weeks and you are still hearing how tiny you are  You get over it quickly when you think about how much less weight you have to lose later!! I've grown to love my petite belly

I have to be honest..... I WISH that people would say that to me instead of looking at me like  when I tell them I'm not due til November (I'm all belly)..... the next comment is usually, "are you having twins".

I got that all the time until I was 8 mts pregnant - it never bothered me - you will love it after you have the baby and people say "You don't even look like you had a baby!"

I'm sorry but I can assure you that when they start saying "You're HUGE" and "Are you sure it's not twins" you're not going to like it either so my suggestion is to start swinging now

ITA, I had a woman ask me at 16 weeks if "there were twins in there" So I would love for someone to tell me I DONT look PG. Rock it while you can.

while it is definitely better than people telling you that you are huge.. I know for me, it's annoying to be almost 20 weeks, and still have to tell people you are pregnant.

Me too...If one more jerk looks at my belly and says "any day now, right" I will punch them! No jerk-hole I have at least 7 weeks to go!!!!

I get that alot!!! My family is always the one to tell me I have a cute little belly. It makes me feel better.
I'm actually starting to not mind it aws much anymore. I'm thinking maybe I will carry small and it will be easier to loose after the baby comes. I have to admit though, I do have a little belly envy.

Believe me- to the ladies who are "slow to show"- you WILL have a belly eventually and you'll likely have one of those adorable baby bumps that all the movie stars sport  <--green with envy guy. Either way- you WILL have a belly.
With DD #1, I also carried huge out front and actually had a guy at the local Burger King (yeah- so what? I wanted a Whopper at 32 weeks ) ask me if I was "gonna birth that calf right here in the BK lobby...."
Thankfully I didn't have to kick him in the shins because his wife slapped him upside the head.
ETA: I just wanted to be clear that I am in no way making light of anyone's issue. I'm sure others think that I was lucky to be showing so quickly.

Same here! And when people ask if I'm having twins and I reply no, they then go on to tell me how I should have the doctor check again because one baby can hide behind the other. At 30 weeks I think I would know if it was twins. This is my second pregnancy so I did show much faster and I may be slightly bigger but come on...you can't even tell from behind that I'm pregnant

I am SO sure I'm going to end up looking like a weeble come March/April !!
In the beginning I loved it! but now that I'm 23 weeks, I get "are you starving your baby, because you don't look that far along" ... some of the time I just want to cry when they say that, and other times I want to knock them out, either way I think people should just leave there dumb comments to themselves lol, just call me pretty that will do

OMG- YES. People say that all the time- even NOW. I'm 31 weeks people, and I had an amnio. There is NO WAY there are 2 in there.
They also like to tell me that the amnio is a mistake because I am definitely carrying like a boy.
I will say though, the former AP at my school WAS showing very early in her pg. She had a sono at 8w and it was confirmed there was only one in there. She didn't have another sono until 20w where it was found that she WAS in fact having twins . Could you IMAGINE?! The poor thing looked like a deer in the headlights for a few weeks after.

See- now that's just rude. Just look them straight in the eye and say, "Yes, I am starving my baby because I want it to be small..... makes for an easier delivery."

I'm 18 weeks today and don't think I'm really showing - I'm plus size to begin with. Although I am getting that  look from people who are trying to figure out if I'm pregnant or have just gained weight.
