if one more person tells me to let
my 3 month old baby cry, I'm seriously going to lose it  DS gets very cranky and all night family members are telling me (even ones w/ out kids) to put him in a room and let him cry. are you effing kidding me?!?!?!? ppl are so annoying sometimes.

yeah I"m very sick of defending why I won't let him cry. it's aggravating enough , but then to have everyone just play it down like oh just put him in a room, really irritates me.

Tell them to mind their own fuucking business!! I guess they don't want you to "spoil" him by answering his cries or by trying to soothe him!! People are so dense!

The funny thing is that they can't even be spoiled yet at that age!! DC needs you to be there in those early months so they can feel secure and safe! Then later on you can work on letting dc learn to fall asleep on their own!:)

My response (I get it too ), If I can't spoil him a little, who can  . He is your baby. If you want to hold him 24 hours a day (I am not at all implying that is the case, just trying to make a point), he is your child and you can do that. If you MIL (or mother, or other family member) has a problem with it, let them have another child they can let cry all they want.

That is ridiculous!! Although DS was very good yesterday he did have some cranky/fussy times. The poor kid was just so overwhelmed by everything, the last thing he needed was to be put in a room alone to cry

my mom tells me the same thing. she means well - she thinks he should be able to fuss for a bit and then put himself back to sleep or calm himself down.
but we know better - we know our babies' cries and we know when it is time to get them!
try not to let it bother you - i just  at my mom now, i have totally had enough with my family's comments!!!
