If she throws up on me one more time...
IM GONNA LOSE IT!!
WHY every morning after she BF's does she burp and then THROW UP everything?!?!?!
I know for a fact that I dont have THAT much milk. When I wake up in the morning (she sleeps 11 hours) I usually pump 5 oz. -- she always eats 5 to 6oz. normally, so whats the problem??
Why is it only in the morning session?? PLease help me cause im utterly disgusted.
ETA: She does have acid reflux, on meds 2X a day and she is FINE all day long. Its only in the morning that she throws up, why?? Its literally like water coming out of a hose--ON ME!!

mild reflux? Thats DD's issue- but her puking was after EVERY feeding- not just the morning... I feel you pain!

oh i forgot to add that she has acid reflux and is on meds for it!! The thing is she is fine all day, its only in the 1st morning feeding

It's probably a combination of the fact the your flow may be quicker in the am and that her acid relux meds haven't quite taken effect yet so early in the day.

Youre probably right... She eats once she wakes up at 8 or 8:30. I give her her meds 2X a day at around 10am and 5pm.
Do you think I should give her the meds 1st thing in the morning and then wait like 10 minutes to feed her?

It's worth a try. She may wake up so hungry that she won't give you those 10 minutes, but I would at least give it a shot and see how it goes.

im not a BF'er so i might sound crazy but can you pump a little bit and then BF? maybe it will lessen the flow and not be too much for her?

I don't know anything about acid reflux but maybe try the meds before & burp her to make sure all of the gas is out prior to feeding her.
