If they were sincerely sorry, of course.
ETA: Assuming this was the first time it happened. If it happened before, it would be harder to forgive and move on.

If it was a repeat offender, no. Some people have constant diarrhea of the mouth and don't deserve to be forgiven.
If it was an "honest" mistake and the apology seemed sincere I would try my best to accept and forgive.

I would still be hurt for awhile, it would take me a bit to get over it.....but eventually I would, but keep my guard up around that person.

Get over it and move on? Of course, even if they didn't apologize. Eventually, you just have to let go.
Continue the relationship with that person? Well, that totally depends on a LOT of things...
