if u have one of those big netted trampolines in your yard

what are the pros and cons of it..were thinking of getting one.
i have a 4 and 1 1/2 yr old.

My friend had one...while they are fun I can tell you your homeowners insurance goes up and you are liable if anyone comes over and injures themselves on it!

really? what if u have a big treehouse swingset in your yard and a kid falls arent u still liable..yet does homeowners go up for that too?..that stinks if its true

This is true. Injuries from a trampoline can be far worse (and more likely) then falling off a swing set.

Yup. My husband's friend was dropped. he believes they found via Google Earth.

I looked into it too because they look like a lot of fun. Everytime I googled it, all I got were how dangerous they were so we opted out.

I was told kids shouldn't use the big trampolines until they are at least 5. Something about injuring their joints and possibly affecting their growth.

We have a bounce house.

Yep my parents had one in their yard and were told by Allstate that it was not covered and they would be 100% liable.

Yup....don't have one, but the insurance company apparently did a google check of our yard and saw one. Must have been from the previous owner. Anyway, they threatened to drop us.
