Last year when I hosted Christmas Eve, I made filet mignon and lobster tails, brussel sprouts and roasted potatoes. Oh and a salad.

Xmas eve is Paella. I’m not a big Xmas eve person.
Xmas day is Filet Mignon with brussel sprouts and roasted potatoes. Hoping to score some lobster as it is on special at Lidl this week and make a cold lobster salad starter.

I host Christmas Eve. 13 adults and 4 kids, sit down dinner. I’m making sauerbraten, cheesy chicken roll ups, spinach pie, twice baked potatoes, spaetzle, Mac & cheese, and a bunch of veggies. For appetizers, fried ravioli, pigs in blanket, veggie platter, cheese platter, clam dip, shrimp dip, Bavarian pretzels. I’m making cheesecake and brownies and Christmas cookies for dessert, and my brother is bringing a few other desserts! Christmas Day is lasagna, chicken parm, meatballs and salad. 7 of us on Christmas Day.

Baked Ziti and meatballs. My sister and her husband cook fish dishes every year and the kids never eat it, and we end up heating premade chicken nuggets for them.

cuban/dominican here... but it's almost the same. our family menu is pernil, rice, black beans, platanos, yucca, salad, papa rellena (stuffed potato balls), cuban bread.
i'll be bringing dessert - dominican arepa (coconut cornmeal cake).
there will also be flan, cookies, cheesecake

I feel like I'm always all over the place, but my family is pretty simple and will eat anything..
Xmas Eve: I plan on putting out a few platters to start: Charcuterie, shrimp, and Philly cheesesteak pretzels. Dinner: Lasagna, chicken francese, salad, and dinner rolls Xmas: Prime Rib, stuffing, mashed potatoes and any left overs from the night before. Dessert: cheesecake, fruit cake, and chocolate covered pretzels.
