If you...

If you had a miscarriage and are now pregnant when do stop worry that something is wrong with the baby? I am 17 weeks and haven't felt the baby move yet. If I don't have any symptoms that day I keep having a fear that something is wrong. Please tell me this fear goes away.

I'm almost 26 weeks and I still get nervous. I feel baby boy every day at this point, but some days he is more active than others. The big thing for me was the anatomy scan (which I had at 21+) and then hitting 24 weeks (viability). Those were both really big for me. Hope that helps! Once you've been through a loss I don't think you are ever really comfortable until the baby is in your arms.

When I had my first I had never had a loss and I still worried like crazy probably until close to the third trimester and at times even after that. Now that I'm expecting my second, I had an early loss a few months before and it wasn't all that different. I worried a ton until I could feel regular movement which was probably around 20 weeks. Thankfully I don't have as much time to think about it or I'd probably still worry more than I do. Until I have a healthy baby in my arms I will always have some worry.

I'm 34 weeks and I'm still nervous. I think it just comes with parenting. I'll never stop worrying about my kids, but you have to try to not let it take over the enjoyment of your pregnancy.
