That happened to me with a copy of my doctoral dissertation. I did everything (and there are programs you can buy to try to restore it), but it was gone.

Sorry that you can't recover it. But you can probably google it and recreate your special list.

I almost did it again - but luckily I had the same files on my work computer - I am leaving this job, so I'm transferring things onto my stick and deleting them from my work computer, but since I had both boxes open, I deleted from my stick and already deleted from my work computer - when I thought it was the other way around, if that made sense - I decided to delete from my office computer with the memory stick box CLOSED!!!!
I'm ready to shoot myself!!!!
