I can come to work in my PJ's if I wanted to but I don't. I vowed to myself to never even wear jeans.
I believe in the philosophy that when you are presentable, you work better (more professional).

What do you wear?

I believe in "dress for the job you want and not the job you have" people come into work in pajamas, disney sweats and hoochie tops.

I wear "business casual" every day and i only wear jeans on fridays - and even with my jeans i will wear a nice blouse or something!

I can wear whatever I want. Somedays I wear jogging pants and a t-shirt and other days I dress up.

Depends on my mood and the weather.

I wish I could go to work in PJ's...we're not even allowed flip flops on dress down fridays! Guys aren't allowed any type of shorts any day of the week! I don't necessarily agree that you'd work better.....I feel you'd work better if you were comfortable.

I would be the happiest if we were allowed jeans everyday of the week!!!

I wear jeans and a button down most days, sometimes just a regular t-shirt. I wear heels at least 3-4 days per week. I'm dressier than a lot of people I work with, but I believe in looking professional, even if the environment is casual. Also, I think the higher ups notice when you take some care to look professional. I think I dress on par with the higher ups in the office for the most part. Which is where I want to be, someday.

I wear Jeans and T-shirt type things everyday, except when I am going to see a client, I wear Smart Casual. I work in an Advertising Agency so its the nature of our business to be casual. I could never deal with business dress, I am too lazy to wash and iron everything. No siree bob.

In my last job, I enjoyed being able to dress up, it didn't really bother me. My problem was I didn't have a vast wardrobe, so I am sure my co-workers got tired of the same outfit in rotation every 10-14 days

My last job was mostly in the office but you had to wear a jacket every day! It sucked. Now I work at home. I am wearing capris, T-shirt and flip flops and I just got out of the shower! SShh don't tell! If I meet with clients(higher ed-no one really dresses up) I wear business casual

We are allowed to wear whatever we want but for some reason they're anal about shoes, no fllp flops. I wear jeans everyday and a t-shirt.

My office is conservative business casual with no casual Friday. I am a pretty casual person, so while I would still not come in PJs I would definitely be wearing flip flops and if I could wear jeans at least on Friday I would be so excited!

We're business casual and I hate it. I hate business casual outfits.

IF I could wear whatever I wanted to work, it'd definitely be sweats . . . I fully feel like I work better when I'm comfortable. When I work past 10, I usually change into sweatpants (in my office where no one can see me) and I get so much more work done!

yep. i usually wear jeans and a cute top, often i wear a super short dress as a shirt over jeans.

all i need is jeans, a wifebeater and a cool necklace... some black liquid eyeliner and im good to go.

Just a random thought here....If you wear did wear pj's to work, what happens if you needed to go get lunch or some other errand during the day??? I'd be pretty embarrassed to be caught out of the house with pj's on!

I can wear whatever I want-- but I still need to be presentable. Basically-- whatever i would wear on a weekend, or going out for dinner is what I wear to work.

I work a lot of hours-- and personally feel that if you are going to be at work for most of the day-- you should be comfortable-- as opposed to wearing a suit or whatever.

I wear jeans, nice shirt and cool shoes-- I don't look like a slob, but it's definitely casual-- unless I have a meeting or something. Then I dress appropriately.

I work best when I am comfortable, so I often dress casual, but somewhat conservative. For court, I dress to show respect to the judge and the court, always in a well tailored business suit. For the clients who see me so casual at the office , I let them know that I will not be dressed that way in court.

I dress like a hassidic girl everyday. Not making this up, long skirt, long sleeves, no skin. Lately though, I have been a little out of line and not wearing pantyhose bc my legs are swollen from pregnancy. I have actually had comments made by neighbors of why I dress so frumpy-you are a pretty girl and have let yourself go... lol... I am the only non-jewish girl in the entire building consisting of three companies.
