If you are on the pill and need to take antibiotics......
I know, the pill will be less effective. Use backup birth control. Blah, blah blah. But if you have to take an antibiotic and you get breakthrhough bleeding and cramping, how long does it last? I do not know what was worse, having a resistant strain of strep throat or this!

the last time that happened to me was a few years ago, but the bleeding lasted almost 2 weeks, but was VERY light and VERY annoying.
