If you could only choose one, which one? A Play Kitchen or A Play House?
How many years worth of play/ interest do you think either of them have for your kids? I can only buy 1 for DS but not sure which route to go.

Re: If you had to get only one, which one? A Play Kitchen or A Play House?
DD loves her kitchen.
We don't have a backyard and our balcony isn't big enough for a playhouse but i'd think you could get a used one on craigslist for cheap. I'd spend the money on a new kitchen.

Target has a table top sized "kitchen" and there are really small/compact ones for $20-35.
The outside house was always full of cobwebs.

you can get a playhouse with a small kitchen area in it. i'd vote for playhouse though.

Well since her FP House broke 2 weeks after she got it I vote for FP Kitchen She loves it and it's in our kitchen now so she likes doing dishes when I do, and closing her fridge and ours.

I think the kitchen grows with them more and since it's indoors it will get more use than a playhouse, YMMV though.

thank you. I think I'm leaning towards a kitchen since he can play with it year round.

I think a kitchen is better because there is more things to do. My boys STILL play with their kitchen and my oldest is now 7 yrs old and youngest almost 5. We have one that makes noises and recognizes some of the food. It's really cute.
But, if you really want to get both if money was an issue, I HIGHLY recommend craigslist. I LOVE it! You can get both in like new condition for the price of one of them new, probably less. Good luck!
