I did favors for a baby shower once (no pic) but we got clear plastic jars and filled them with pink and blue m&ms
some other ideas:
chocolate lollipops (in the shape of carriages, bottles, pacifiers)
candy bars wrapped with a personalized wrapper
cookies or cupcakes wrapped with pink/blue ribbon or decorated with pink/blue

The theme for my shower was Noah's Arc. My mom bought chocolate covered wafter "tubs" and made an assortment of white chocolate "animals" in different colors. She got everything at Michael's.

We did popcorn in a bag (not popped though). With a sticker saying
Nadia is going to POP
Timer set to 01-21-08 (due date for first dd)

my mom's friend made chocolate lollipops & then they did mini baby bottles with M&M's....They were all a big hit!

My placecards were edible....white chocolate lolipos. I bought the molds and chocolate at a chocolate store in huntington named ????? sweets. Take a look in my album, they came out really cute

My sister already told me that part of my favors are king size hershey bars  and chocolate & peanut butter lolly pops... Both with personalized labels

jelly belly jelly beans in shades of pink and light green- got them online from jelly belly.
packaged them in cello bags and labeled w/ custom labels from myownlabel.com
