I was just having this conversation with my husband the other night! I don't think we'll be able to do a maternity shoot this time around just because of schedules. We are literally busy just about every weekend leading up to the baby's birth and then work schedules are nuts.

We couldn't do a newborn shoot with our first because our photographer (our cousin) had just found out she was PG too and had extremely bad MS, so a newborn shoot was out. So this time around I think we'll do a newborn shoot and no maternity shoot.

Yes, but not as elaborate. 2nd time around we did picture people with dd1 included.

Yes but only because my friend is trying to break into the business and she needed a subject. Otherwise, no I would not have done them.

I didn't do them with my first so I am contemplating doing them this time. This is also a second marriage so I guess it is considered the "first" for me and my husband. I am just feeling like 1) we have been bad about taking pictures so far this pregnancy 2) I want more nice photos with my husband and 3) I'm having those only child to two children feelings and would love to capture some nice shots of me and my son one last time. But, when push comes to shove still TBD if I will actually do it.
