 I never do. DH always over tips them, he gives probably $5. Especially if its a 20-something chick

yes, Dh's sister works curbside and she gave me a long shpiel about the etiquette of curbside tipping. She said she gets stiffed a lot and technically, even though in the end it is your own decision, you're supposed to tip them.
