If you do powerpoint presentations at work and know about your projector screen, I have questions for you!
I'm looking to buy a portable projector screen on a tripod. This is for a slideshow for a birthday party.
What aspect ratio do you think is best for powerpoint? 1:1, 4:3, or 16:9?
Also, what size is good? 70 or 80 inch? is 80 inches overkill? The projector is this mini projector that isn't THAT great, so I don't think we can blow up the screen fully since it will be too blury. Do you think 70 is a good size for a presentation?

70" is a good size, that is over 5" which is probably the size in most meeting rooms here at work.
I think by default PP is 4:3 unless you change the settings

Oh I mean the size of the actual screen. so a 1:1 is square and a 4:3 is slightly rectangular. The size is usually taken from the diagonal.

Considering that the screen on a 50" TV is about 48" wide by 36" tall, a 70" screen will take an image that's about 1.5x as big is the above TV.
Most portable projectors can display a 70" image but it would probably still be a good idea to do a dry run.

the better question is how big is the room..
the size of the room decides how big of a screen is needed. As you sit further away, its harder to see the same size font at the front of the room. Increase the screen size indirectly increase the font viewed by the eye.
