If you doctor took a guess at your 12 week sono?
were they wrong or right?
I'm getting soooo antsy about finding out baby's sex. Tech predicted a girl at 12 week sono....secretly hoping she is right....i'll admit it - i'd LOVE a girl, since i already have a boy... But, yes, of course, more importantly i want a healthy baby.

The sono tech took a guess and she was right but I heard it's easier to tell early on if you're having a boy.

Mine took a guess at my 17 week amnio sono and was WRONG!!!!!! I went home thinking I was having a girl and when I got the amnion results back and since then it is clearly a boy.
I would not take a guess that early as definite.

Do you have a profile pic from your 12 week sono? You can take a REALLY good guess based on the angle of the dangle if you can see it in the 12 week sono. It has to be the 12 week sono though.
Post it if you have it!

At twelve weeks there were no boy parts.

See that's the thing, you don't want to look between the legs at 12 weeks. You want to look at the full profile shot of the baby. After 14 weeks or so you can look between the legs, but at 12 weeks that really tells you nothing.

Interesting..i have it at home (at work now). I'll check it out...i don't think i can post it..don't have a scanner.

at 12 weeks adn then again at 16weeks she said girl (80%)

I didn't ask them to guess because I didn't want to get a surprise further along the pregnancy but they guessed for my SIL for her first child. They guessed girl and said 80% sure and later was confirmed it was a girl. She's currently pregnant and they were like 90% sure at 12 weeks it was a boy and it was also confirmed later.

My sono tech wouldnt venture a guess at 12 weeks. But she told me at 16 weeks it was a boy, then again at 20 weeks it was a boy, then again at 31 weeks. So I pretty sure im having a boy LOL.

They were wrong. It was actually the perinatologist that guessed after I pressed him. He guessed girl. At the anatomy scan he was very CLEARLY a boy!
ETA - remember they all start out looking like girls - then things develop

The sono tech guessed at 12 weeks and then my OB at 16 and it was confirmed at my 20 week that I was having a girl.
