If you don't like someone can you fake it?
I usually can. But, when it comes to my new landlord I just can't! My husband knows him for a few years. And we just moved in May. I just don't like him. He pops over unannounced constantly. Why is it so hard to pick up a phone & call with the dumb question that you have. Then yesterday as I was food shopping & there he is. I was on a reg line the guy had 3 items & stands behind me. Meanwhile the express line was almost empty. I gave him this look & he got off my line. My son makes a big deal when he sees him. (he loves to see people he knows) But, he is so obnoxious & he is such a dork. I can't bring myself to be civil to him.

Me too and even than it is hard. I hate being fake anyway, if I don't like you - you usually know. Not that I am mean - just not my normal self to ya.

Usually not - at work though I don't think I have a choice but to be at least professional and speak to the person. Outside of work I absolutely cannot fake it.
