If you had bad morning sickness...
I've had terrible all day sickness with all my pregnancies. This is my third. I'm 7 weeks and have been suffering since 6 weeks. I just started on progesterone and I also need to take synthroid. I have a script for diclegis, but since I'm on so many meds I don't want to take the diclegis if I don't have to. It's so hard to function though! I have 2 kids and I babysit my nephew all day so it's getting super difficult!!
I just noticed that my snack at night is salty pretzels and I seem to be free of any sickness at night. Anyone else notice that salt helped with it? I'm going to test this theory in the morning too.
Are sea bands worth trying? What was your best remedy?

I do the sea bands, my probiotics 3x daily, jolly ranchers, mints, seltzer and all carbs. Bagels, English muffins, raisin bread, and egg sandwiches- all my go to things. I snack on pretzels and cheese it's! I also keep a box of each stashed in my desk. I wear my sea bands at night through the overnight. I'm good in the morning. My only bad morning was yesterday so far. I have only thrown up 1 day so far, so I'm just counting my blessings to have made it to 8 weeks a not be anywhere near what many go through. I will say earlier on I was having mild to moderate nausea all day which made me crazy then it went away, now the intense nausea and gagging has really kicked in. If I have mints or jolly ranchers it's helped with the gagging although I'm a little tired of sugary things it does help!!! Try what works and roll with it!

Re: If you had bad morning sickness...
Pretzels (especially soft pretzels), saltines, bagels, and bread were really the only things I could keep down from weeks 7-12. I was miserable- I threw up constantly, lost 5 lbs, I was a mess. Warm ginger ale helped a bit, too. And peppermints to keep me from puking on the subway. Good luck! I hope you're feeling better soon.

Re: If you had bad morning sickness...
I had terrible all-day sickness with both my pregnancies from 5 weeks to 16 weeks. I know this isnt really what you want to hear, but for me, nothing helped at all except time. I was on diclegis and zofran - neither helped at all. Mine was worse as the day went on. I really couldnt eat anything except carbs, and even that made me sick. But my go-to's were bagels, fruit, spaghetti with sauce, and hot dogs. Yes, I know, real healthy
For me, sea-bands were a waste. Ginger anything was repulsive, gum and mints I couldnt stomach, and those preggo pops were worthless. I basically suffered through for 11 weeks and tried to sleep as much as possible. And then one day I woke up, and it was gone!
