if you had the choice...
hello if u had a choice of traveling to ireland or scotland where would you decide..i find myself in this predicament let me hear your opinions

plus my fmil has been there a few times and i believe i want to go with her the next time she goes

Ireland, hands down...but I'm a bit partial, I'm 100% Irish and have distant relatives that own a pub in county Donegal

Can you do both in the same trip??
I would probably do Ireland-- just because it is supposed to be so beautiful-- but I do like Scotland because it's so rich in history and also there is a lot of culture in Edinborugh (sp?).

My family is from Scotland so I'd go there! I'd actually try to do both in one trip...the pics I have seen of scotland are breathtaking.

I don't know if I could choose one. I have always wanted to go to Ireland being mostly Irish. My DH is Scottish & has family in Scotland. Our dream vacation would be to travel to both countries.

Well, I'm Irish....so I would pick Ireland.
I had a wonderful time when I visited there a couple of years ago....can't Wait to go with my Husband.

I;ve been to both and loooooove SCotland - I've been there twice. Edinburgh is alot of fun and a tour of the Highlands is fun too. How long a trip? If you can do both that'd be perfect.
