Re: If you have 2 children of the same sex .... Re: clothing
I never dress them the same - Most people tell ME I should b/c it's 'so cute' I personally think it's lame. Ocassionally I'll coordinate color - wise or something, but usually they are very separate and distinct
They are two separate people, they wear different clothing. But I am one of those people that doesn't like to see kids dressed alike - for any day, holiday, pictures, whatever.
IMO their personalities are also very very different. Things that suited Sean perfectly look silly on Colin - I don't know why .........it's just not 'him' ....

I have twin boys and never dressed them the same. I would do coordinating outfits, different colors or patterns when they were younger. Now they have different tastes and want different stuff.
I don't like dressing them to match since I didn't want them to thought of as part of a whole. I wanted them to be individuals.

Re: If you have 2 children of the same sex .... Re: clothing
2 girls here only 14 months apart so they tend to feed off eachother, I dress them alike when they really like the same thing or I just think something is so nice that I can't chose who to buy for. Sometimes I will change the color if it's possible. I was critisized once for dressing them alike, but I don't care, it's that person's issue - not mine. If I see something I like and both sizes are available, why not? Less fighting. It's like toys, sometimes, often, I buy 2 of the same exact thing. DD2 gets a lot of hand me down's from my oldest and my oldest gets most of the new clothes, so it's not that frequent anyway. We went to Children's place for long sleeve t shirts not long ago, they picked out a lot of the same stuff as the other... you know what... if they will wear it I don't care. JMO, if I had boys I'd have the same take on it.
