If you have a Dell laptop, better check this website
I just checked my work laptop and my battery is marked for a recall.
here is the website
for those who don't know, the battery can explode!  Apple is having the same problem. the batteries are all made by Sony.

I kept saying to myself, I have to look this up, but I kept forgetting.
Ours is not effected by it though, even though I wish it was, cause the one we have gets soooooo hot sometimes - that we have to shut it off.
