If you have a gas central heating system in your home...
Do you have a company come to service it? If so, how often do they come by and how much does it typically cost? What does the service include?

You should not have to service a gas heating system. We had one installed a few years ago and our company told us that there is no service and if anyone tries to sell you one....run away!!

Thanks Lisa...we are tying to figure otu this whole system. Since you have one...what do you do tomaintain it? Or better yet...what should we do to become familiar with the system and what should we know to maintian it?

we do nothing to maintain it!!  we use it for heat, hot water and our dryer. We just make sure the pilot light is on and we installed a CO2 alarm in the utility room.
If you want i can give you the name of our guy, if you want someone to come and assess your system. he is honest.
