If you have a knock off bag
And someone you don't know compliments you on it. Do you tell them its not real?
For example: at a kiddie birthday party for a child at your dc school
If anyone on here even has fake bags

She came over to me and was like "I can't stop staring at your bag I'm drooling over it" and kept going on and on
I felt like I HAD to tell her!

I havent gotten one in many years but got them at parties and on the street in San Juan. Lol. Have gotten compliments on all of them. Lol. I still use my large LV one that I got for free for hosting a party which they wanted $80 for. It is real suede inside.

I always do.  I don't normally buy knock offs, but I just happened to pass this stand on the street and saw a gorgeous bag. I didn't even notice the "MK" on it until after I was in love with it already. It's actually not even a style that MK does, so I don't know why they put the logo there. I still would've bought it without.

OMG me too. I have an $80 antique looking ring from QVC. It is Diamanique. I bought it when I was pregnant because my rings didn't fit. I get compliments all the time, and I tell them its fake....

I LOVE Diamonique. I have a travel wedding band that I got from them and it is absolutely gorgeous.
Re the bag parties, I must have gone to about 20 of these in the early to mid 2000's. They were all the rage in my neighborhood. For an LV or other very high end bag it's worth it, but for the more moderately priced designers, like Coach, I didn't see it as being a bargain. A wallet would be like $30-$40, and you could get a real one at the outlet for less than $100.
My favorite fake purchase was a belt (NOT a skinny one) with the C's all over it. I used to wear it with low rise jeans and those t-shirts that just covered your tummy. It. was. HIDEOUS. But I thought I was the Sh!t!
