If you have a MAC laptop...
...do you like it, and which one do you recommend getting? There seem to be a few models but I can't tell if they are really all that different other than the memory capacity.

Re: If you have a MAC laptop...
I have the macbook....I love it - had a dell before this and I will never get a PC again. The mac runs a lot faster, and just is all around easier to use. I've never had an issue with it and i've had it for 9 months. It still works the same as the first time I turned it on. I HIGHLY recommend macs!

Re: If you have a MAC laptop...
I love my MAC laptop. I have had Dell and HP which are good but I love my MAC. I have the MacBook and I am very happy with it. No complaints at all like I did with my other laptops. I have had it for almost 2 years now and when it does go (which it hasn't yet) I will def. be getting another one.

Re: If you have a MAC laptop...
LOVE mine. I have an iBook G4, and they stopped making them a few months after I bought mine (3 and a half years ago). But they've only gotten better and fancier since then.
I'll never go back to a PC. Macs are on average a few hundred dollars more expensive than comparable PCs, but for 3 and a half years with no spyware, no viruses, no crashing out of nowhere... it's worth it.

Re: If you have a MAC laptop...
Thanks all....I have a Dell now and I really like it but it's old and slow. Everyone says to get a MAC but I am concerned about getting used to it - like, no double clicking, no full screens for MS Word, etc. and I need it to be compatible for work.

I was afraid of not getting used to it so I bought the Windows XP so I could go back and forth but I find myself going to the MAC program because it is easy to use and everything I need to do works on that program and not on the XP program.

Re: If you have a MAC laptop...
My husband just got his Macbook Pro last Friday. It's the one that's environmentally friendly. I'm a PC user from way back and I kind of like it. I'm typing on it now.
I'm in the market for a new machine myself, and I'm considering a Mac too. The fact that it can boot Windows XP is a huge advantage. It looks like everything you can do on a PC can be done on a Mac, you just have to learn how to use it.

I just got a Macbook for xmas and I love it! I was also nervous about getting used to it, but honestly is very easy to get used to. I have microsoft office for MAc and everything is compatible between my mac and pc so far.

I have a MAC desktop and my husband has a MAC laptop - we still have to double click, so that won't change. You can also make your screen fit the window with any program. They are so easy to get used to.

Re: If you have a MAC laptop...
I have a 13" unibody MacBook and an old 14" iBook (2005 or so). You can't go wrong with Mac. This UI is so much better, which leads to a much better experience (and more stable) all around. I'd be a fool to go back to windows!
Plus with Remote Desktop for Mac, I can get into my office XP computer with no problems (download is free) on my laptop.

Re: If you have a MAC laptop...
I've had just about every Mac under the sun... (a Powerbook, MacBook Pro, MacBook, Mac Mini) and I would never even consider going back to a regular PC. In my opinion they are the most user friendly computers you can get so don't be worried about the change. As far as which one you should get--it really depends on what you'll be using it for. Most people only need a regular MacBook. Good luck!
