If you have a walk-in-closet in your master bedroom and you have no need for a dresser -

what else do you have in your room?

we don't really need a dresser or jewelry armoire or vanity, and it's nice to be able to save money on not having to buy them, but what else can you put in your bedroom?

I know u said you don't need a vanity but it would be so nice to have somewhere to sit and do your makeup

We each have walk ins, mine has a vanity built in the closet

You can do a nice sitting area with a table to display pictures or decorations

we ended up buying the dresser because the room looked soooooooooo empty, it was bothering me. so now we have a dresser, and a night table w/ nothing in them . our master bath has a vanity, so we couldn't even do that

I have my desk & computer, a bench & big comfy chair for seating. I was thinking of getting a treamill too.. thats how much room I have since I have a big closet.

we have a cherry wood corner unit for the TV (like a triangle that fits into the corner, has a couple of shelves and 2 cabinets for dvds and such).

Right now, we also have a rocker/bassinet that DD2 sleeps in and PNP for the weekends when we bring DD1 into our room but still want to relax in bed lol As soon as we kick those 2 freeloaders out of our room, i'm thinking of getting a vanity and/or a seating/reading area.

I have a vanity and a slipper chair on one side of the room and a tv armoire on the other. I also have an antique table just outside the closet door where I have a small lamp on.

can someone share what their bedroom sitting area looks like? I want to set one up but not sure what to get.

hmmm... I didn't even think of this! Our new bedroom is going to have a crazy amount of closet space. We were planning to bring our 6 drawer dresser and chest of drawers with us but now you have me thinking that we won't need it! DH wants to put his recliner in the bedroom and I was thinking that it would look silly with all of the furniture.

For those of you without dressers, where do you put things like undies, socks, etc?
