This is our's. I got the idea from Pottery Barn, I got a pamphlet from them on how to hang pictures and it tells you what frames to use but I only used it for the general idea. All the frames are floating except for 3. Image Attachment(s):

I have a small wall in my hallway like this - frames frmo Pottery Barn. I love the look of different frames too...
The wall has been painted since this pictures was taken.

I have 3 pictures frames that have white mating around the pictures and the rest have a glass front and back and the picture "floats" in between the glass. Alot of the frames i have are 6x8 and the piture I have in it is 4sx6 so you can see around the picture and the paint shows through.

Okay, here's what I started. I'm going with all black frames and a mix of color and b/w pics. We have a 4 foot hallway to our kitchen so we're doing pictures on both walls. I want lots of pictures!!! Damn, I love pictures! 
And here is the opposite wall.
