If you have any Haitian friends who need the help of technology to speak with loved ones...
the library where I work (Brentwood Public Library) is going to be offering free Skype calls for Haitian community members on designated laptops.
Also, in case you haven't heard, Skype is giving $2 vouchers per person to those in Haiti who wish to contact loved ones over here. I think that gives them an hour of online time.
Just spreading the word...

It IS a beautiful place
Also, if any people need to contact family in the military, the Brrentwood PL is offering the Skype service for those families as well. It actually started with that purpose and they just decided to spread the Skype due to the recent tragedy.
I know for us, many of us forget that not everyone has a computer or Internet. We hope this service will help some families.
