If you have fair and either oily or combination skin...
What foundation do you use? And do you put powder on top of that? Branching out into the real world of foundation and I am nervous because I break out fairly easily. I am going to Sephora tomorrow for that skin ID thing they do but I wanted to see what "real" people use

When you go, ask for samples of a few different foundations and then walk out to your car and apply it in natural light with your mirror. You will be able to see exactly which one will work or not work. Also get a beauty blender to apply the foundation ( you wet it and squeeze it a few times then use that to apply foundation. It will help your foundation look flawless. I also like the real techniques expert face brush for applying foundation.
You may also want a primer - maybelline babyskin or smashbox (but only the trial size as it is a better value for the money)

I use Revlon Photo Finish (drug store) and I also have Laura Mercier. LM is fuller coverage and works great AS LONG as I exfoliate really, really well beforehand and then moisturize immediately after.

This turned out to be my perfect match! Lancome Teint Idole. I just wish it wasn't so expensive

Did all this! Got a sample of the one I liked best to try at home, and ordered a beauty blender and a primer from Ulta. Thanks
