If you have Gap/ON Adjustable Waist Jeans for DC...
This may be a very stupid question but, I cannot figure these out. I see the elastic tabs - they are now on the tightest setting (how I bought them) - and there are three button holes so supposedly they can move two button holes bigger on each side BUT when I undo the buttons the elastic just sits in the same place anyway on both sides - I keep trying to pull the back or stretch the waist but it isn't working - any tips?
TIA!

Just sort of pull at the waist. I had some practice because I had maternity pants that were like that. Eventually I just cut the elastic completely and then I could not believe how huge the pants were . You will get the hang of it with those types of pants. I still like them a lot for my DS.

I dunno but maybe you got a defective pair that was returned. They generally are sold/displayed with the elastics on the last/biggest button hole so maybe someone had done something to those. You should be able to maybe get a hold of the slot the elastic is coming out of and then pull from the center of the back waistband.
